The Reactis Group supports its clients in their digital transformation and performance improvement. Our client is currently looking for a Senior back-end developer to complete its experienced team which is evolving in start-up mode.

You have relevant experience in back-end development? You master NodeJs? You dream of participating in the development of a nice and ambitious team? This position is for you!

We are looking for a talented senior back-end developer to join our startup client as a key member of the technical team. You will participate in the design, development and maintenance of back-end solutions. You will work closely with their back-end team and the Delivery Manager to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Their back-end solutions are architected in NodeJs microservices that are deployed on Google Cloud, with MongoDB and Datastore databases, Elasticsearch for all our statistics. Our new applications are event-driven using Pub/Sub, Socket.io and microservices.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and develop back-end functionality using Node.js and Typescript
Progressively migrate the functionalities of the old JAVA architecture to a NodeJs microservice architecture
Actively participate in the design and architecture of the back-end
Optimize application performance
Write clear, maintainable and scalable code
Participate in the testing and validation of the application
Understand the business issues and propose innovative solutions to improve the product.

Qualifications required

Profile required

With a degree in computer science (BAC+5) (France) or a bachelor's degree in computer science (Quebec), you have 5 years of experience in a technological environment with high data volume, ideally in the field of logistics and transportation.

Know-how

Know-how

Mastery of JavaScript and also TypeScript

Mastery with databases NoSQL (MongoDB)

Mastery of distributed architectures and microservices architectures

You have knowledge in JAVA

Ability to write clear, structured code and easily maintainable code

Excellent communication communication and team teamwork

Knowledge of the platform and tools Google cloudplatform and tools, on the use of sockets and Pub/Sub would be a plus.
