We are looking for 3 Application Functional Support Engineers on permanent contracts in Aix-en-Provence for a 3-year assignment with a major public social protection account, with a negotiable fixed salary of between €35 and €45K + bonuses, benefits and partial teleworking.
With a degree from an engineering school or equivalent, as a junior or with experience in an IT department, you could thrive on this project rich in business subjects, contacts and public service issues.
THE POSITION AND THE MISSIONS
As part of a team of around ten people, you'll be in charge of functional support for the production of a major business application within a rich and complex ecosystem. The position will give you a 360° view of an IT department.
On a day-to-day basis, your main tasks will be to:
- Analyze and handle N2 functional and technical incidents: identify the root cause, propose workarounds where appropriate, escalate and track the resolution of anomalies,
- Participate in change management (during production releases and BDD modifications) by carrying out acceptance tests,
- Collaborate with Operations, Software Publishing, Business Support (MOA department), cross-functional technical experts, support for other applications in the customer's ecosystem, etc.
- Occasionally work on call.
This position may be open-ended depending on potential.
Ideally a graduate of an IT engineering school or equivalent with 5 years' higher education, you will have gained initial experience in an IT department and have a very strong appetite for business functionality. For example, you've already provided functional support for complex business applications, or you're a functional analyst in an IT department, or you're a development engineer looking to move into a more functional position.
You like to analyze and investigate to find the cause of technical or functional incidents encountered and thus help resolve them. You are familiar with SQL queries and logging tools. You understand process execution CRs. Rigorous and proactive, you have a strong sense of user service and are recognized for your interpersonal and communication skills.
You wish to invest yourself in a team that will accompany you throughout the project in your rise in skills and your evolution.
