Description

As part of our RedHat Linux migration project, we're looking for an experienced Linux system administrator to define and implement a target architecture and put it into production.

As a Linux system administrator, you will be part of the existing team and will be responsible for the following tasks:

Your main task will be to migrate the 150 RedHat servers to the supported versions using RedHat Satellite.
You participate in the design of technical bases
You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, availability and parameterization of the servers.
You secure and optimize existing systems based on best practices and the publisher's tuning rules.
You industrialize and automate recurring tasks by developing scripts if necessary
You take part in improving platform supervision
You handle incidents related to your project and track them in our ticketing tool.
You draw up documentation and procedures relating to your area of activity

Qualifications required

You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position.

Required Skills:

Mastery of Linux server architecture and administration
Ability to suggest improvements and optimizations to architecture and functionality.
In terms of tools, mastery of VEEAM backup and restore.
Good synthesis and writing skills.
Rigorous and methodical, you will apply the rules and processes defined by the company to minimize errors and risks.
Genuine expertise in the following functionalities is essential: Linux systems administration.
Knowledge of RedHat Satellite would be a plus

Additional information

2 teleworking days per week are possible.
Preferred start date: ASAP

35-40K € gross per year
